Can you link different databases through buttons? For example I have a database named Siezed property and another named evidence. I don't want to have all this information in the same database as there are more than 3000 entries in each one. but I would like for someone to be able to have the option of opening the evidence database from the seizure database.

What is the reasoning behind not having a database with 6,000 records? Access can handle MILLIONS of records. There really is no need from a physical standpoint to separate them.
You can link to multiples, just use the normal linking process to link to whatever you want, but in this case, I would not keep them separate.
