Starting about on December 30, 2016 the emails I've been getting from the Access World Forum have links prefixed with HTTPS, e.g.

https://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=291207&goto=newpost

Prior to this they were prefixed with just HTTP, e.g,

http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=291200&goto=newpost

The links to HTTPS result in screens that are incomplete, e.g., missing menus.

Does anyone know why this is happenning?

Thanks. I see I'm not alone.

Working on this!

I am unable to access AWF on Tapatalk from my mobile phone. I have re-typed in my username and password as requested by the application. It responds:- "requested function does not exist". I'm wondering if this is the result of the recent changes to the AWF site URL's ?

Its not related but on the todo list!

@Uncle Gizmo, I have upgraded the Tapatalk plugin. Can you tell me if its working ok for you now?

Yes! This message is via Tapatalk! Thank you!

Oh good! All done then.

Still having problems as reported by others:-

Can't use >>> Quick Links >>> Todays Posts
In the Thread where CJ London posted a screen shot of the above issue, I couldn't add a comment. I added my comment as an edit to an existing post. The thread page count showed 4 pages, but I couldn't go to page 4...

Can't use >>> Statistics >>> Find all posts By UG (Me) >>> Discovered this when trying to locate this post <<<

TIP >>> To get around the navigation problems I looked at the automatic email notification i receive from AWF and these links work fine...

To get around the missing Daily posts issue, just look in each forum section at the new posts there...

I have no clue as to whats wrong. My Googling found the following. It may well be unrelated, but I thought I should post it...

Ok this is a tricky one. Or was.

I had two tickets off the back of this thread, and eventually tracked it down to the permission "Can Publish" for the Articles channel, which needed to be set to Yes.
