list box problem

Ive a form that been used for add new data . then i have a list box in the form. i want the list box appear with blank field not with the 1st data in the list. how can i do that?

No I can't. The image is too small to make anything out, and I doubt it wouldn't answer my initial question.

What I need to know is how does the data on the form relate to the data you (don't) wish to appear in your list box?

The simple (but not very helpful) solution, given the information you have presented thus far, would be to suggest you remove the Row Source from your List box. This would have the desired effect but would also make the whole thing a little point less.

You will need to explain;

1. What you want to happen
2. What is happening
3. How you are currently approaching this problem

Attaching a copy of your DB would also be helpful. 2003 format for preference.

how can i attach my db here? its a big file. or maybe can i email u?

First up do a compact and repair on it. Then put it in a zip file. When you do your next post click on the little paper clip above the input box and follow the bouncing ball from there.

ok. i already found a solution.. thank you so much john..=).. and now, if i add new data to the combo or list box, it will not save to the database. why is that happen?
