Hi,

I have created this list report, but I have now being trying to format it so that the report header will be in the centre of the page and also the page footer.

As well as the headings of the values repeating on the other half of the page also.

Name Phone Handicap 2/3H/C

I have attached a copy of the report as a PDF I hope the above makes sense.

Thank you for anyones assisstance with this as I am at a loss.

Centering report header and footer is simply a case of making the label/textbox the width of the report and using center align.

Looking at your report pdf, have you used the columns setting feature to achieve that appearance?

Hi Isskint,

Thank you for your response.

I tried centring the label as suggested it only centres to that part of the page.

Yes I have gone to page setup to get this result. I have attached excel spreadsheet to show you what I have done.

I would like this information to be printed on one page only.

Maybe there is a better way to achieve the same result.

Thanking you for your time

OK, a few changes.

Number of Columns = 2 - yes you have 4 fields but this setting is to tell the printer how many times you want to repeat the data across the page.
Column Size = 10.75 - Width taken up by your 4 fields. The total of column widths and column spacing needs to be less than or equal to the width of the page.

The page width in design view needs to be full (landscape = c.28cm depending on margins) so your headings and footers are spread across the entire page. If you want the footer notes to only apear on 1 page put these in the report footer not the page footer.

Detail headings need to be repeated. So if you had a column width of 11 and a column space of 0.5 you would need a second set of headings at + 11.5. The only sure way is to test it and adjust.

Hi Isskint,

Thanking you for your time once again. :) It worked! I now have my contact report.
I have attached the end result minus logo but that was the least of my concerns I didn't want to keep using the spreadsheet I was orginally using.:)
