I'm having an annoying problem with an Access 2000 MDE that runs fine in many locations on a variety of PC's and OS's, but on others it occasionally bombs with an "Access will be shut down" fault. There seems to be no pattern to where and when this happens, though I do suspect that it might be something to do with serial communications that the app performs to recieve barcode data (using API calls, not the dreaded MSCOMM.OCX, thankfully!).
The only reason I can see that for the variation between machines & OS's that they will probably have different versions of the Jet and Windows DLLs.
I'm sure I have seen some code somewhere that lists all the references used by an application, including all the version numbers etc.
Does anybody know where I can find it?
