Little Combo Box problem

I have a two column Combo Box (titled WordType) that I would like to populate from an Excel file (called CardTypes.xls) which obviously also uses two columns (A & B) and a varying number of rows. I have spent hours searching for ways to do this seemingly simple thing but have had little success to date.

Is this something anyone can possibly help me with

I'm not sure you will be able to populate your combo directly from Excel. However it is quiet a simple process to import the relevant Excel cells into Access as a new table from which you will be able to populate your Combo Box.

Agree with earlier thread but it would make more sense to link the excel file as opposed to importing it, don't you think?

A change of heart

I have had a change of heart, mind and socks and decided to attempt a read from another two field table within the current project which would serve the same purpose of the Excel data but keep the whole job neater. A two column combo box and a two field table. Should be easy. My mind is now falling apart yet again.

Any suggestions with this variation?
