Loading word but can't see the document

This may because I have been playing around with VB in Access over the last couple of weeks or because I have managed to inadvertently change my word settings - I really don't know. However, when I click on a document (Any_word_document.doc) either on my pc or on the internet - Word loads but the document isn't visible. It seems to have gone off to the right somewhere? I can usually see the document if I load it in safe mode i.e. press ctrl and click on the document. I am running office 2003.

Has anyone had this before? Better still does anyone know how I can fix it! It is very frustrating.

If it's just off the screen, you should be able to right-click on the icon in the task bar, select Move, and use the arrow keys to move it back into the visible area.

This is a huge relief. I feel a little silly since the solution was easy. However, as with all these things you either know them or you don't.
