Dear All,

How is it possible please to lock certain fields in a query from editing? (if the recordset is updateable of course)

I tried to change the dataset to Snapshot but it locks all the fields and not just separate ones...

Many thanks in advance! ;)

editing should be done in a form, where you can do such stuff.

I understand but the problem is that a form displays each record only (one at a time) while a query shows all the records

and I would need to see all the data in one screen if possible

Could you please advise?

Thank you!

You can change the form to tabular view in the properties or even datasheet view (not 100% sure the later does what you want it, but I think so)

I cannot find the datasheet view option for forms in ACESS 2007. Has it been removed?
I have exactly the same problem, I would like to block some fields, but in a query, well, in a datasheet view.

Any advice?

Thanks a lot!

It's in the FORM's property sheet.
