Hi,
I have been asked to do something to prevent the users from going into the customized menu strip on top of the MS Access application. I searched the net but cannot find anything. I want them to be able to use it, but not make changes to it.
Can someone tell me how to do this, if it can be done.

Thank you

The Menu bar and Toolbars are in Office/Access 2003 and older.

In Office/Access 2007 and later the menub and Toolbars were replaced with a Ribbon (Menu) and a smaller Quick Access Toolbar (QAT). The QAT can appear above or below the Ribbon.

Using the correct terminology will help you greatly where searching the help files or the web.

1) What version(s) of Access are you running?

2) Are you referring to the QAT added in Office/Access 2007 and later?

3) Are you referring to the Ribbon in Office/Access 2007 and later.

3) The Menu bar in Access 2003 and older?

Hi and thanks for the your reply, and sorry if I did not state this right; o let me try to do better here. I do not mean the ribbon, I can fully control that.

Using the correct terminology will help you greatly where searching the help files or the web.

1) What version(s) of Access are you running? --> 2010

2) Are you referring to the QAT added in Office/Access 2007 and later? -->
Quick Access Toolbar.

3) Are you referring to the Ribbon in Office/Access 2007 and later.--.No, but I would want to make sure that user could not go in and change this either.

3) The Menu bar in Access 2003 and older? I am not sure what you want here, but I am referring to Quick Access Toolbar in MS Access 2010.

Hope this helps
Thank you
