Within a formula in querry beside other values, I need to have a logaritham of some records, but the Log function is giving me other (higher) results then for exp. in Excell or with calculator !?

I hope someone can spent little time to explain it what I am doing wrong!
Thanks in advance!!

The Log function uses the natural logarithm, Excell allows you to change the base from base e to another base as do many calculators. On the Calculator if you are using the ln button that is the natural Log, if you are using the Log button that is the logarithm using base 10 instead of base e, try using (Log(YourNumberHere) / Log(10)) to get a base 10 log result in Access.

Well, it is a to long time since I was learning this in high school and I am not sure that I understood you, but it works :D :D :D

Thanks again!
