look for a file in all drives

Hi every body

i have an axcell file
my program edit this file but some times end users remove it to other location
and the program produce error file not found check the path

i would like my program to display dialog box for manual searching or to look for file in all drives automatically
your answers will be appriciated

how to look for a missed file on other drivers and all its folder and their subfolders

Your tactic is not good - a search can take ages, and the user will just scratch his head.

If this file is movable by users, then do not hardcode its location, but ask the user for it each time, eg using the FileDialog. You can specify default location and filename, and if it is not there the suer will then have to indicate where it is.

If users move each other's files then that is a workflow problem that should be solved not by code but by agreement.

that is what I'm looking for
i need a button to open FileDialoge and the value of FileDialoge to be used as the path for my excell file
what is the appropiate code and action to do that
