I have just put a copy of a database i have built, onto a new laptop with windows xp and access 2000. The strange thing is that none of the forms show any fill colour - background, text boxes or rectangles. The text boxes and rectangles will show a border colour, so it's not as if the colours are not being recognised. I've tried filling the controls from the tool bar, and from the properties box. The code for the colour appears in the properties, but doesn't actually show up on the form. I tried building a dummy database on this computer, just to see if i could get colour in that, perhaps it was something in the translation from my machine, but i couldn't.
Does anyone have any ideas? All white forms are horrible!!
