Lots and Lots of Reporting Packages

Hello all,

Since there are so many reporting packages out there I thought we could open up a discussion about all the various packages and what they have to offer. So far I've had experience with Crystal, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), JasperReports, and the company I'm currently associated with Windward Reports. I love how powerful Crystal and SSRS are, but it took me so long to learn how to actually use all the powerful features. Jasper I was less impressed with compared to the other two - seemed like they tried to copy but failed halfway through. I'll save my opinion of Windward since its probably a little biased. What are your guys' thoughts and feelings?

I like Crystal now that it's been modernised.

I used to work with software called HotDocs, although it startedout as document automation software it integrated very well with databases and produced excellent reports in Word. At the time it was mainly the legal industry that used it and I haven't heard of it since, which is a pity.
