Macro blanking out after completed

I have a macro that runs several queries, an append query, then two update queries to a table. It then sends that table in Excel format and let's the user specify where they want to save it. The trouble is after it all runs just hunky dorey the screen blanks out and the whole db seizes up!

I use this same macro device else where in my db for running reports. Everything is same except different data and there are no problems.

Can anyone tell why it's doing that?
