Macro exports report to Excel 2003 format

I have a Macro which will successfully export data from an Access Report to Excel.

I would like to know why the column headings are the field names from the tables and not the updated field names of the reports.

Can anyone explain this to me?

Labels on a report are not data. The DATA which underlies the report is exported. And therefore the labels from there are used. But you can go into the tables and add to the field's CAPTION property which means it will use THAT instead of the field name.

Nope, just go add the captions to each field in the table (find the CAPTION property when you select an individual field while in design view in the table). They should show up in your exported data.
