Hi there.

I've made a macro on Access 2000 that uses a query to export selected data to a comma delimited text file in a folder called C:/Test Export.

This macro worked perfectly the first time and wrote the file. But less than a minute later, I tried running the macro again and received a message stating that the object was "Read Only". With a little investigation, I found that every single folder in my C: and D: drives had been set to Read Only. What's worse, is that in the folder properties, the check box for this is greyed out. I can still deselect the text box, but when I open the properties dialog again, it's automatically set back to Read Only.

Has anybody heard of this at all??

I've updated Norton and ran a virus check twice to no avail, and given the circumstances, it all began with running the above macro.

Any Ideas?
Cheers
