Macros/Menu question

Hi

Can someone inform me how to disable the Access menu‘s on my system? I’m using XP! I want the system to load and have either no menus or replace the standard Access ones with my own. My own menu would just be a file exit option and nothing else. The rest of the systems functionality is handled by treeviews and buttons and I don’t want users to be able to do anything via a menu!

I know in the past I have seen macros used for this but I don't have any experience at it myself.

Any help, as always, will be appreciated.

In Access 97, select Tools | Startup... | and then deselect the checkbox marked 'Allow Full Menus.'

Thanks for replying.

Unfortunately, I had already done that but it still produces a cut down menu system which I want rid of.

I have a log in form which all you do is type in a user name and password and I still have menus to insert new records and stuff. This will confuse the users!

Thanks
Andrew
