I'm trying to Mail Merge data from two tables into Word using a query. I made a query to join the two tables. As I look at it now, it seems that mail merge prefers to display data record by record while, in this situation, each Product has several Comonents which each show up as a record.
Is there an easy way to join the data from the common Components to show up as one record? Or do I need to utilize a Make-Table query or something of the sort? One would think that merging data in this way would be a common request.
Sadly funny how I lectured my client on the "right way" to design a DB, but now all they see now is how much harder it is to get anything to work the way the used to when the DB was set up the "wrong way". All I hear, "At least I could do this or that before...".
