mail merge opens new db

I found some code as to how to merge access data to word to create mailing labels. The problem is not only does my word doc open, a new one opens as well as two more access db's. How do I stop this? I just want to have my original db open, click a button and a word doc w/ the mailing labels to open and print. that's it.
