Hello.
I'm having some problems using the Mail Report command button to send a report as an email attachment.
It worked perfectly at first when I chose to send the report in snapshot format. However, when I chose Excel as the format it caused the email program (Lotus Notes) to throw an exception and shut down.
Now, whenever I try to mail the report it creates an attachment with a nonsensical name and with .xls at the end (no matter what format I asked for), and the attachment itself, when opened, is just an Excel file filled with gibberish.
I've obviously closed everything down and rebooted several times since the original problem but nothing has made a difference. I've renamed the report and tried mailing the new version but the same problem occurs.
Other reports in the database are fine and attachments in all formats (including Excel) are created without a problem.
Could anyone suggest what is happening / what I might be able to do about it?
