Wow, I just figured out what causes the problem! Originally, i exported all the records from FileMaker Pro and imported them into MS Access. When exporting from FM, FM always add something in the fields, even though it looked like there is nothing in the field. When I used the records that I imported from FM, the mailing labels wont shrink vertically, but if I used the records that were directly added into MS Access, there was no problem at all. The label looked beautiful! I hate FileMaker! So if anyone worked on the data migration between these two different applications, be careful!

Half the battle is knowing what caused the problem in the first place. I've been running some queries and if I put Not Is Null in the criteria the blank fields are coming up, if you could then filter it not to show anything with text in it then you could run and update query to chage these fields to Null. I'm sure, however, that there will be a much simpler way of doing it.

I definitely must go to bed now!
