I've searched for a simple answer (complicated would just just go right over my head since I'm not that great with Access) but can't find what I'm looking for. I appreciate any help any of you can offer.

I've created a simple db to track Machine Performance. Tables, queries (with and without parameters), forms to input or edit the data, and reports with supreports and graphs all work now.
I've created a form to allow me to enter the date parameters only once to run all the querries.
I've also created a macro that generates 5 reports, one for each machine.

Now, I need to send those reports to a group of up to 15 people.

Is there an easy way to automate emailing this group of reports?

We use MS Outlook.

Thanks again,

beckieo

Look for the "SendObject" action in Macro's, you can use that to send your report. It's pretty straight forward, but you can only send it as Snapshot format if the recepients also have Access or Snapshot View installed .

If they can't read the file then send as .rtf format although you will lose formatting.

Found It!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I couldn't get the "Send Object" to send all 5 reports at once.
My folks don't want to open 5 extra messages every day, so I was still stuck.

Then, while talking it out with a friend (who knows even less than I do about Access) he asked "Could you have 1, 5 page report instead of 5, one page reports?"

Well DUHHHHH

After a little thought, I:
* created a new, blank report
* inserted all 5 individual reports into the new one (making them sub-reports)
* took a few minutes to work out the spacing

and now I have one, five-page report that can be easily e-mailed as a single attachment.

Simple, but it works. Hope it helps someone else.

Thanks,
