Main Menu Form

Hello all, i'm trying to create a database just now and i'm banging my head a little on the forms side of things.

Can anyone tell me how, or if its possible, to create a "Main Menu" form, that gives you options to say, add a record to a table, to delete a record etc.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use a different form for data entry than for editing data.
On the data entry form, go to the form properties and select

Data Entry - yes.

Each time you open the form it will be on a blank record.

Ok, I have created a basic form layout for a main menu.

I have various text boxes drawn up offering options, such as, add a car to the database, add customer to the database, query cars etc

I've been told that I can then link these text boxes to their correct tables, but I don't know how to do this. Do I need other forms for these tables first or what??

i'm soooo stuck
