Make Form controls go away?

I am the Queen of Dumb Questions today but I can't figure this out.

I have a form that I made as the startup form, instead of using the switchboard. But it has the form controls at the bottom to jump from one record to the next. Since there will never be records added to this form (it's just a picture with some command buttons on it), I don't need those controls. Can I get them off there??

Under Form Properties-Navigation Buttons. Click the little square in the top left hand corner of the form.
