I want to find the percentage of a specific amount of data in relation to the rest of my data. I've set up range expressions to seperate my data into 7 different sections. Now I want to create reports that have the percentages of these sections in relation to each other and 2 other variables. Is there any way to manipulate the data in design view or do I have to try a different method like using a pivot table?

If you use the report wizard to create your report, you will have options to select percentage calculations for each grouping in your report.

I tried entering in a range of data from ages 18 to 60+ in intervals of 5 (18 - 22, 23 - 27,.....) into a crosstab query that calculates there averages in relation to the other groups. The data is divided by sex (f/m) so I want to get an average for every single age group and sex so they all add up to 100%. I set up the query all right but when I made a report and tried to format the average of each grouping to represent a percent in relation to everything else it just pushed the decimal point over 2 on the average and put % sign behind it. Grouping it won't work because there are too many fields to group. Any advice?

I forgot to add, the age has to be represented in relation to a sum of money designated to it by a different variable called amount. So i've got the average of each amount under each age but I need the percentage of each amount in a report not the average.
