The client does their catalog by printing reports directly to Adobe. They sell trucks with a lot of different sorts of accessories, each being listed in a report. The reports are all dissimilar enough that you couldn't combine them. There is a lot of wasted space, though, as some of the reports are only a few lines long. They wanted a way to put all the reports so that they follow each other in a nice, orderly fashion.

What I did was format all the reports into subreports (an excruciating task, each catalog has some 45 reports) that had a group header with the RepeatSection turned on. I lined up all the subreports in the detail section of a main report. Each subreport does a good job of keeping its header with the first record and repeating the group header if it spans a page.

This worked quite well except for one thing; if the page break occurs in the middle of the heading it will break the heading up. It will print the top half of the heading on one page and the bottom half on the next. This (combined with the spelling errors in the client's catalog) is rather unprofessional looking.

Can this be fixed? Is there a better way to have done it in the first place?
