Marking a record by what tab is was entered on...

Maybe an odd one this. But here goes...

Is there any way I can record to a table, what tab the data was entered under (I'm just experimenting here).

So. I have one table.
two queries... One for credits and One for debits based on said table.

One tab is labelled Credits, and the other Debits.
Credit and debits can be entered under either tab by means of an
"-X.XX" under the credit tab(for debits) or
"X.XX" under the debits tab (for credits)

But for tracking purposes, is there any way I can mark the record (via a field) with what tab the record was entered under?

Like I say, it's odd, but just experimenting.
