Matching string count

Hi All,

I'm creating a Holiday Authorising database and I'm stuck, I've created a query that checks to see if any authorised holiday falls during the period of the unauthorised holiday and if they do I've written a vb function that returns the dates that match as a comma-delimited string. The purpose of the is that no more than 3 people can be off on a particular day, so now i've returned the dates I need to return the dates they can't have off because there are already 3 people off on that day.

Here is the output of my query so far

Unauth.RequestID __ Auth.RequestID___ MatchingDates
________2_________________4___________07/03/2006, 06/03/2006,

So I'd like the resulting query to output as below, because there are 3 people off on these 2 days.

Unauth.RequestID___DaysNotAllowed
________2___________07/03/2006, 06/03/2006

Please somebody help my brain is going into meltdown.
