What is the maximum number of controls that can be put on an Access report in Access 2000? I've only got about 200 and I'm getting an error message telling me Access can't add anymore controls.

Don't know about the limit, but do you realy need 200 fields on a single report?
It looks like you need more than one report.
It is easier for the user who read the report if they see what they need to see only.
Like we say in french: «Too many, it's like not enough.»

I agree with Newman about looking to use more than one.
As far as I know there is a limit on the controls you can use in a single database (don't recall how many) even counting the ones you used and deleted afterwards.

That's about what I've done. I need to show numeric data for each week of the year - chargeable hrs, non-chargeable hrs, vacation hrs, training hrs, etc. With totals added for each week I hit the 255 mark VERY quickly! I hate to break the report up into multiple reports as the my customer wants to see a whole year on one page. Any suggestions?

Export the data to an Excel file.

It sounds as though your db is not normalised, it's not nec. to use 300+ fields to do this type of report
