Hi All,

I have a question about the size of the "pallette" that is available in the Report (and Form) design areas. I'm using Access 2007.

I am trying to create a report with just one big Detail section - no headers of footers - and it works exactly like I want it to, except I am limited in the "long" dimension in design view. I cannot expand the work space beyond 22 (inches?) on the working grid.

I have a database with multiple customers and associated fields. There is a government form that all these customers need to fill out and send to the appropriate gov't agency. I have all the data a customer needs in the database, so all I need to do is create a report for a single customer, make a pdf version, and send it to the customer to sign it and send it in. It's not a huge amount of data (assorted fields and text), but I do need more than three pages (or 22 inches on the working grid), which I can't seem to get.

Is there a way to increase the "working area" for Report (or Form) creation?

Is there a better way to accomplish what I am trying to do?

I am an intermediate user at best, and I have a feeling I am missing something very basic, but I have been struggling with this problem for a long time. I thought I would put it in front of more experienced users for some help.

I posted this on accessforums.net as well.

Robert
