May I refresh a subform? May I insert a record in the top of the table?

I am designing a form that has a subform but when I insert a record into the table, the subform does not refresh.
The process are:
1. I insert a record into the top of the table.
2. And the subform on the main form of this table is refreshed after that.
Can I do this process automatically?
Please help me! Thanks all of you!!
