'.mdb?'??

Hi all,

I have a prob. I am in the UK and my database is stored in Budapest on a Budapest server, it is just stored in a shared file and its very small and people access it whenever they what. In the location it is stored, one of the users say they can see it says '.mdb' underneath the name of the database and they can't access it. When i access the database from that server it is fine, looks the same and works the same. It is only this one user with this problem its affecting...does anyone have any ideas why this has happened?

Could be a Windows security issue or a Workgroup security issue. Verify that the user has both kinds of permissions defined. Search this forum for keywords such as PERMISSIONS and SECURITY and WORKGROUP

Ok i will do, she has been using the database for a while now though, could the fact that she has just changed computers be a reason? thanks
