Hi,
When you say something like:
Me!DateSentToAccounting.Enabled = false
And the above relates to a text box & its label, are you referring to both controls or both together? Because I’m locking both out, but the font is not readable meaning its too light to read.

The Me object is a special way of referencing the currently active object. In most cases you use it to refer to a form or report. So if you want to refer to a property of a text field...

Me.txtField.Enabled = false

What this will do is prevent any user from entering data in this field. It will also gray out any text that might be displayed in the field.

Anytime a control is disable (enable = false) it goes gray. If you want it to remain un-grayed you can do one of two things. Set it's enable property to no and it's locked property to yes. Or just set it's locked property to yes.
