Memo field only displays about 150 characters

I have a couple of reports that I have placed a memo field, but the field is cutting off the entry at about 150 characters. I can enter a hugh text field in the forms and observe it in the query fine, but can't seem to figure out why the memo field cuts off in the report. Any suggestions?

text field does not refer to the Access field (it is a memo) - poor choice of words.

Got this from Access help :

If the Memo field is manipulated through DAO and only text and numbers [not binary data] will be stored in it, then the size of the Memo field is limited by the size of the database.

Would that help ?

possibly. I'm just storing text in the memo field.

I don't have much experience writing VBA code, so an example would help.

I was under the impression that memo would allow 64K of text whereas a text field was limited to 255 characters - so don't quite know what to make of the report cutting off the data.
