Friends just a quickie on above

I have a memo field that i place on a form. How can the form be opened with this field in Rich Text Format on loading? That's it! :o

Click on the control, open the properties window, select the Data tab - change the Text format property to Rich Text. Save your form.

Minty i read that some where but in Access 02/03 in the Data Tab there is no Text Format, only controlsource, input mask, default value, validation rules, v txt, enabled, locked, filterlookup. I must gone astray!!

I look the table design to find the text format, of course not there, WHERE?

JUST FOUND, that elusive Text Format only appear from Access 07, if so how to do it in Access 03. HELP :banghead:

I use Leban's control and it works really well. You have to do some research because as he says, it's not that well documented. As well, you're going to have to convert existing data to RTF data but it's worth it, IMO!

Late Thanks guy/gal. By the way is there any control that comes with office or window itself that can do the trick.

This was not a feature of "native" Access 02/03 so my first guess is NO.

Dr Yes you double what I found
