Hi guys,

How would one go about deleteing all items from a specific menu on the menu bar i.e. all the menu items for the help menu?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

It can be done but why not create your own menubar and *only add* the items you want?

Yes, I have created a menubar and added the items that I want. But when the database crashes or is closed unexpectedly for whatever reason, it creates multiple entries of these menu items. There is a now a huge list, where only two items should be present.

Therefore I would like to know if there is some way that I can delete the duplicate items on the menu bar, so I can do this at the start of each users session.

I would think you would want to address why the application crashes or closes unexpectedly. Is your application split to FrontEnd and BackEnd? Is it multi-user and does each user have their *own* copy of the FrontEnd? What version of Access are you using?

Thanks RuralGuy, but I have got it working! It was quite simple really - I was just having a very LONG day yest!

The reason why the application crashes has been addressed and fixed. Recently however I have been building new features into the system and fixing minor bugs, and there have been times that I have needed to ctrl alt del out - this is one of the reasons why there are duplicate items in the help menu.

Thanks once again though ;)
