Merge of two fields for a count

I need to get a count of the number unique of females and males on my db.

I have first name, last name, gender.

So, I need to merge those fields (first name, last name) and carry the gender through with the merge to get a count.


How would I code this up in a query?

you would want a select distinct query and you can combine fields like so

username: firstname &" " & lastname

You dont... keep the fields seperate and count on them...
