I live in the Northern, New Jersey area.

Does anyone know where I can take a one week computer class,
that will teach me the VBA language as well to populate
the cascading list boxes, to populate boxes that will only display for example the books associated with that author?

I find that I would need a computer class, atleast one week long, any two week classes I couldn't comprehend it.

Also, for my learning purposes, it would be better if I can do it one on one or hands on with my own computer database, as a start.

Regards,

With the demise of CompUSA, I have lost track of the places that offer such classes. My wife used to teach at CompUSA, but no more. (They went el-foldo at the end of 2007.) Some time ago there used to be a few small organizations that did this sort of thing. New Horizons had the classes, but I haven't seen them lately.

I have no clue as to whether it is worth the investment, but try going online to look up the curriculum for the Video Professor courses for Access.

As to getting a class that uses your own DB, don't hold your breath. That is called "private lessons" or "tutor" or "consultant" depending on how many places to the left of the decimal point are involved.

You may want to start with Crystal's site.
