Microsoft Certifcation

I am looking at doing SQL Server MS Certifcation - has anyone done similar.

In theory each module costs roughly 100 pounds and maybe 60 quid to buy study material? Have I missed anything.

You sit the exam online?
Do you have a time constraint to do say modules 1- 3 to get MCSA?

Do you get actual certificates - ie having passed 1-3 - is the MCSA a notional thing - or is it held somewhere that you have a MCSA.

I do find disconcerting that if succedd in this process you become a MCP. Didn't anyone at Microsoft realise that this can stand for Male Chauvinist Pig!

I have only seen on job wanting MCP or Oracle's equivalent you became a oral contraceptive pill.
