I must be missing a reference somewhere, but I have a form with several calculated fields in it, with the control source as =DateDiff.... They were working fine last week, but now all it displays is #Name?. What happened? I've looked at my references and none appear to be missing. WHich one do I need to add to make this work again? Thanks for you help.

If it truly is a reference problem, the usual offender for date, left$, mid$ and right$ functions is MSCOMCTL.ocx. That one will occur and not show as MISSING. To fix (if that is the problem), click browse on the references dialog and browse to C:\Windows\System32\MSCOMCTL.ocx.

I don't see that in my System32 folder. BTW, I'm experiencing this problem with ANY field that has a control source that BEGINS with the equals sign, (=)

try running a search for that ocx file. That is a common file that is used with Access, so I wonder where it is on your machine and if it isn't there why it isn't.

Found the file and referenced it, but it didn't fix the problem. Been struggling with it for a few days now. Have to get it working ASAP. Thanks for any other suggestions you may have.
