I have finally decided to give MS Access a try. I have been developing applications in arago, dbase, cold fusion for years.

I am trying to familirize myself with Access 97. While trying to convert an older compiled arago application to access 97 I keep getting dialog boxes indicating I need to have "Advance Wizards" installed.

I also don't seem to have an add-in manager. All I do have is an office 97 professional cd that does not seem to
allow custom installation or have any of the above needs on it.

My access version is Access 97 SR-1

Where can I get the VBA files, advanced wizards, add-in manager etc?

The microsoft developers website does not seem to have these available?

Thanks in advance for any help, if there
is any help for such an old fart.

The files you need ARE on the Office CD. Go through the installation again and choose the options very carefully. Make sure you add all the wizards, help files, and samples. It has been a long time since I last installed A97. You may have to uninstall all of Office and then reinstall. However, if you have newer versions of Office on your PC reinstalling Office 97 will break them so if that is your situation, you may need more help.
