Missing reference...not missing!?

I´ve sent a db to a friend who´s using XP. I use win98.

Of course, the date() function does not work. I´ve had this problem before and as I recall there was a reference missing. Only this time, there isn´t.

I´ve searched the forum, since I know this is a frequently occurring problem, but I could not find the answer.

What do I do?

I'd still say that it's a missing reference. Maybe one of the .DLL or .OLB files
has a slightly different name under XP. It might not show up as missing, and it
could be checked, but the name is wrong.
