Hello there!

So I made this form about a month ago and I put in Created By and Modified By in the form. I didn't put in any code for it. It was functionality in Access. Now I cannot remember for the life of me how I did it!

I don't want dates. And searching online is useless because the terms are too general even when I take out SharePoint, dates, etc. The test form works. I just cannot figure out how I put it in there.

I am using Access 2010. They are separate text boxes that show the name(s). I have spent over two hours trying to figure out how I did it on my test form.

do you mean go into form design view (depending on access version, right click on form in navigation window select design view) and drag a new control onto the form?

Yes it is in design view.

While I can put in SQL I am trying to do this with minimal amount because my boss found out I made a simple organizer out of Access for myself just For record keeping and now I have to build out this full form tracking system with Sharepoint. It is fine but it isn't actually my job. (This isn't even close to being my job!) So I want to be able to pass it off to someone in the future and their expert level is questionable. Plus not one person using these forms has used Access. This is also why I haven't touched it in a month and forgot.

The modified by and created by only live on the form and not on the table. I did put it in the design mode. I really appreciate any help.

struggling to understand what the problem is - all you need to do is drag the required control from the ribbon to where you want it on the form.

Or are you talking about the form properties viewable in the navigation pane? If so, right click on the top bar and select view by>details

suggest post a screenshot of what you are looking for and where
