Access handles numbers to many decimal places.
I display money figures on reports to 2 decimal places. After many records the figures do not add up at the bottom of the report to the on-screen total. The TOTAL SUM I have asked Access to calculate adds up each calculation to many decimal places when I only want it to add up to the rounded figure it has given me on the report.
How do I get access just to add up what is on the report ie only to 2 DECIMAL PLACES so that the total at the bottom of the screen matches what is displayed on the report???
I know you can do this in Excel with the ROUND function - but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent function in access that I can find. Any ideas ??????
