Shay helped me beautifully in my quest. Little did I know the path I was walking!
Great, I can open a form as Filter by Form. So far, so good. I can also call up a filter criteria.
However... (the dreaded word)
1. I made a command button to apply filter. It stays greyed out and unusable - even though the apply filter button on the toolbar works. Obviously, I am missing something basic, but I know not what! Can I make the command button do the same as the toolbar button?
2. The next time I open the Filter by Form, it remembers the last filter criteria. I don't want it to do that. I want a nice clean form. Can I re-open the form with a nice clean sheet to start all over?
