Hi,

I'm Morten, a Norwegian living in Houston.

I have been using Access since its inception, but full time since 2001. I have a product called ServiceMax that helps small to medium sized service providers in the UK run their business, You can find it at 1-2-access web site

From time to time I hit a snag where I need to consult other users.

Looking forward to productive co-operation with other users here.

Just wanted to show a screen capture of the dashboard of my scheduling system used by my customers in the UK. Currently showing in dark color palette, but user can choose what colors they want.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

However, please be aware that the owner has an aversion ford people who advertise products without going through him to make an authorized ad. It is a fine line and I'm not going to do anything here except advise you to be careful about mentioning your product.

Thanks Doc-Man. It's not much of an add, as it is more to show that an Access UI can still be flexible and nice looking.

Actually, my warning was kind of obligatory because of being a moderator. Now that you know to be careful about certain issues and why, I've done all I needed to do. And I agree that visual design skills can still be applied to an Access form or report.

Would you know a better place to discuss visual design of Access on this forum?

You can discuss design issues in the forum's topic: Theory and Practice of Database Design. The issue is NOT that you can't give examples. It is just that you have to avoid the appearance of advertising products or services. Like I said, it's a fine line and easy to inadvertently cross. Just don't be blatant about the possible advertising value.
