Hi -

I have recently had a need to update my existing databases from Access 97 to access 2007 and I have had problems re-creating the user-interface (custom toolbars.)

While Access automatically re-created the custom toolbars into the new format, they seem to have lost all of the shortcut key features.

Being able to use shortcut keys to interact with custom toolbars is a MAJOR productivity boost and really need to recover this ability.

I have searched for articles relating to this but suprisingly found none that directly address this issue.

I have found a custom ribbon designer ("IDE Ribbon Creator") program for use with access, but even this seems to be missing the ability to assign shortcuts to buttons etc. Also, I dont really want to have to re-invent the wheel and manually create all the existing toolbars.

I heard somewhere that the custom ribbons / toolbars used in Access 2007 (an onward) use xml files to define and store properties used - but I can find no such file anywhere.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave.
