Hello,

I have created a database that prints stickers. User enters in the information in the 12 fields in the form and they go to the last tab on that form that is the print button(linked to the preview report) and press enter and button sends the command to the printer and the printer prints that sticker.

Now the problem I am facing is that after the user press the print button, the focus stays their and does not go to the new record and if by mistake the enter is pressed two times one sticker is wasted.

Now Is there any way that once your press the print command button it automatically goes to the new record?

Any help in this matter will be appricated.

Thankx in advance

Hi there,

After the print command, just add the line

Docmd.gotorecord,,acnewrec

You can also send the cursor to the start field by adding

Docmd.gotocontrol "Fieldname"

Marion

You can do it like this,

DoCmd.OpenReport "YourReport", acNormal

' Just add this line after your open report command.

DoCmd.GoToControl "YourControl"

Oops MarionD beat me to the post!
