Hi
Attached are images of a project am working on.
In the first image i want to customize the tab such that the user can't be able to access the form in design mode or change the set format.

In the second image
i have a strange problem in a form subform scenario.
The main form is set to Colunmner and the subform is set to datasheet. The problem comes when i open the form in edit mode.
The data in the subform disappears. The link fields are ok and the form's data entry property is set to no.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

First one - I think there's an option somewhere that allows or disallows design views, might be in startup.

Second one - when you say edit mode, do you mean form view? And does the data disappear when you go to enter a new record?

Sorry I was not clear,

In the first scenario I want the tab to appear but the user should not be able to to anything when they right click it.

Second scenario, the form is for editing records so it should open with the related records in the subform but they keep on disappearing but once you click a field in the subform the reappear.

Hope am clearer now

Ah Ok -

1 - There's an option in form properties, close to the bottom - shortcut menu - set that to no.

2 - Not sure to be honest! So the main form is opening with records showing, but the subform is blank? Strange... I've noticed a few differences in the way A07 handles forms cmopared to A03, that's a new one on me though... sorry!
