I want to know more about the MS Access Run time edition. If I prepare pakage in MS Access and installed in one server, shall i share the forms in client computer using Run time?

Pls. give more details.

Regards

I doubt it is legal to install the runtime version of Access on a network server. You can install the runtime version of Access on a PC if you own the developers edition of Access.

If I install Access run time on a pc, would that enable me to protect all the code from wanna be programmers?

This is the exact setup we have got.

We run a city wide network and have our databases on a network server. For our users we deploy a runtime version. basically an icon is delivered to the users desktop and they can view the database.

Runtime gives you access to the forms only. Users do not see any development stuff. No tables/queries windows etc
